— LESSONS 5 OF 13
What the test measures, and how to use it without shrinking a client's diet permanently.
This lesson explains how food allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances differ and how to interpret food-sensitivity testing without turning every reactive result into a permanent restriction. The focus is on using the results to reduce current immune activation while continuing to investigate why the client became reactive in the first place.
Food-sensitivity testing may be useful when ongoing reactions or inflammation are interfering with progress, but it should not replace upstream investigation. In highly reactive clients, timing matters: used without context, testing may create a long avoidance list; used strategically, it can provide a temporary bridge toward greater stability and eventual food reintroduction.
