The DUTCH

FREE CLASS: The Missing Piece
— LESSONS 8 OF 13
Cortisol across the day, sex hormones, and the metabolites that explain the pattern.
This lesson shows you how to evaluate cortisol patterns, hormone production, clearance, and metabolism as parts of one interconnected picture. Instead of interpreting each hormone independently, you will learn to consider how the stress response and hormone pathways relate to the client’s symptoms and broader physiology.
DUTCH is most useful after blood sugar, nourishment, sleep, and stress patterns have begun to stabilize. Its findings can refine adrenal and hormone support, but sex hormones remain downstream of other systems. The report should therefore be interpreted within the context of thyroid function, detoxification, gut health, and the foundations already in place.
